Teaching-Track Faculty Positions in Medical and Health Sciences

The International 91TV (ISM), invites applications for full-time teaching-track faculty positions in foundational and medical sciences. We seek outstanding educators who are committed to excellence in English-medium teaching, curriculum development, and student mentorship in an international medical education environment.

Founded in 1897, Zhejiang University is one of China's leading research universities. Based in Yiwu, Zhejiang Province, ISM works in close collaboration with the Fourth Affiliated Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine (ZJU4H), and the International Institutes of Medicine, Zhejiang University (IIM), forming an integrated platform for medical education, clinical engagement, and biomedical research. ISM is dedicated to internationally oriented medical education and to preparing future healthcare professionals with a global perspective.

 1.Appointment

These are full-time and part-time teaching-track appointments. Rank and terms of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

 2.Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality teaching in assigned courses and academic programs.

Contribute to curriculum development, course design, assessment, and educational innovation.

Advise and mentor students in support of the School's educational mission.

Participate in academic service and other teaching-related responsibilities as needed.

Engage, where appropriate, with the broader academic, clinical, and research platforms of ISM, ZJU4H, and IIM.

 3.Required Qualifications

Applicants should be able to teach effectively in English in an international academic environment.

A doctoral degree in a relevant field is normally required.

Demonstrated teaching ability, or strong potential for excellence in university-level teaching, is preferred.

Both early-career and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.

For part-time appointments, candidates should normally hold the rank of Associate Professor or above at a reputable university.

 4.Preferred Qualifications

Experience in medical, biomedical, public health, or health professions education.

Experience in curriculum development, learner assessment, or educational innovation.

Ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural academic community.

Interdisciplinary or practice-based experience relevant to medical education.
